Do you use a cross over program when doing it? used to use one when i had a "studio". Helped in the initial mix, but you cant beat actual air moving

Il still use headphones as I mostly get to play when the kids are in bed but being able to give a near complete track a mixdown on a decent set of monitors is a huge plus
Previously only had a set of Logitech PC speakers.
Sold all my old ones off before I came back to the UK. Had to cram my life in a van

I had some large Behringer self powered speakers that really worked well in the room, and a set of celestion that gave me a real world equivalent (they were the same ones i had in the house and i knew how both sounded so could dial in fairly well)
but too many years playing punk badly on bass, live gigs and noisy work environments mean that im struggling above 13K now in the right and 11.5K in the left so im reduced to mixing drinks.

I sold one of those a few months ago having rescued it from a skip. Turned the proceeds into a year's tax for the bike

Really gone and done it now, in a fit of madness I plumped for a fleet car
Its the all electric Jaguar I Pace.
Did the maths, its cheaper to run that including charging costs than it is to tax, insure and fuel my D3.
The performance is bonkers 0-60 is sub 5sec

I was looking at that Jag on Harry's garage on youtube. He liked it, but found finding charging points a faff.

@ronan I looked at that review. Not too bothered about charging points as pretty much 98% of my driving will be inside of the distance covered by a full charge, I hope
Electric cars are still in their infancy, charging infrastructure will get better, most motorway services have charging points these days, even our local council are installing them in car parks, just can't see them being used tho

Yeah, but Tesla have it done right, scores of chargers at each point.

there's only about 3 in a 50 mile radius near us or they was up until last year
If you soak the line in water it makes it more pliable so it lasts longer & doesn't snap off at the eye! Yes I know it sounds rubbish, I thought that until I tried it and it does work. I keep a few pre-cut lengths of line in a container of water ready for use.

My right ear did that , about 90 % hearing gone. Went to doctor's, was the only one in the place after ringing the bell. Got olive oil and three weeks later went back.
Still only wax to be seen he said , got two bottles of bicarb solution and it does bring out a tiny stain of wax but another three weeks and still deaf.
The bicarb dries the ear tract and causes some minor soreness so I've cut the usage right down. Still a deaf old coot : )
