Could of probably hid that...but cant hide my latest bit of kit...cant hide that...pictures shortlyDid you really expect her not to notice your latest lathe!
When I went round to pick up the surface plate we carried it over the pond of mutated piranhas
Needless to say there was no price haggling
An EDF guy told me it's a sackable offence to be found with a stanley knife in their tool kit. Most sites I go on insist that they must be the self-retracting type.
Ive been using a 12" tipped wood blade in my Stihl TS400 and the TS350 before that for 20 years for cutting into flat roofs...never ask my lads to use it though for obvious reasons. I would class a 115mm grinder with no guard running a 1mm cutting disc as one of the most dangerous workshop tools and surprisingly many lads use one this way to get deeper into corners etcAll tools are nasty if you make a mistake and some tools/machines don’t maim they kill first go.
Nastiest thing Ive seen was a circular saw blade in a 9” grinder owned by a roofer
Most intimidating machine I’ve used was a vertical borer / vertical turret lathe with a 12’ diameter table machining castings . That machine was definitely a half a day out with the undertaker machine
Seen a bright spark using a tct blade in an angry grinder. Really didn't end well. Thankfully unhurt but made a mess of the room. All tools are nasty if you make a mistake and some tools/machines don’t maim they kill first go.

Glad no one can tell me I'm not allowed a Stanley knife. Infinitely useful tool must have 6 or 7 kicking around the van.
if i see a guardless angry grinder on a youboob video I do the 5p-50p bum dance.
no dangerous tools in my shed...
having said that: I dont own a chainsaw.
i dont *want* to own a chainsaw - i have a couple of demolition recip saws instead: a big heavy 110v milwaukee, and a lightweight erbauer.
