    funny you say that under the blue plastic there is a hole for a 3rd display and a hole in the end for a 3rd RJ9 buy only holes so I suspect the 3rd axis was a extra option

    The machine vice is on and bolted down just need to make a handle. I did start but I need to make the round hole square

    It's definitely easier to make a square hole round :D

    That's the same vice I've got on mine - it's a beast, isn't it?

    it is a beast i didnt realise it was so heavy.

    to make the round hole square i take it i just use a narrow milling cutter

    Drill out round. Broach to square.

    Or get busy with a file.

    I have an old scroll saw which can be doubled up as a die filer
