Just to keep any interested Orca or Bambu users up to date.
Onoffs lad has sent me some details plus a file so I can try his suggestions and settings.
I have learnt a few useful things, plus confirmation of a few things I already knew. But I "think" the most important thing is learning that the settings in his file did not import into Bambu Studio.
BUT they did import into Orca slicer.
I suspect this is because of Bambus cracking down on external software etc.
I am.not 100% sure if what they announced but the advice back then was to not upgrade firmware or Bambu studio.
I took that advice as I use Bambu Handy and it seems that if you upgrade you can't use Bambu Handy if you switch to Lan only mode.
I am doing some more investigation but certainly one of the problems I had might be solved if I can use Orca slicer in that the setting of imported or open files should show up.
