The roughest & shameful bit of 'wood' butchering 
a container / stand thing for the two batteries for the solar panel system malarkey to keep them off the cold floor.
It was basically whatever old scrap ( and unfortunately warped) bits of ply I could find lying around, It's going in a dark recess under a shelf so you won't see it anyway !
I've just painted it matt black too so should hopefully 'disappear'
The tall bit at the back added as an afterthought to have something on which to mount a big fuse holder and on/off switch

I love Lego, I don't play with them anymore but I still love and enjoy the building process.
I've once built an aftermarket utility truck from AliExpress after a very hard day at work....
I've started building it at midnight, I've been freeing up my mind till 2AM...
Then picked up all my existing sets at the time, they were half assembled, assembled them all and placed on the shelf on the kitchen door (showed earlier)
I'd love to have the space to make an actual City MOC but it would need an entire room
I have to go up to the attic tomorrow to find something for my dad.
When I'm there I'll look for my boxes of 'technic' lego and try to build them up.
