Gave the legs a coat of paint and then attached them to the table top.
Very happy with how it's turned out. I just cant help but look at the space underneath it and wonder what I could put in there!
Also knocked up a couple of drawer boxes and a drawer front to go under the mitre saw but I'm lacking the drawer runners I thought I had so fitting them properly will have to wait

Finally got the 24kW automatic standby generator for the house sorted today.
I made and installed the base for it (framework made of ground-contact-rated 4x6 pressure-treated beams, connected with stainless fasteners, and secured with crushed stone over compacted soil and geotextile fabric. I covered the two middle beams with a 3/16" aluminium plate to meet the distance-from-combustible requirement. I put an isolating layer of polyester film between the aluminium and the pressure-treated wood to help avoid corrosion due to the copper in the wood reacting with the aluminium. The generator is securely bolted through the plate to the beams with stainless lag screws.
I dug the 60-foot trench for the gas line mostly by hand, since I couldn't get my backhoe close enough to several parts of the trench, and I couldn't use a Ditch Witch due to a lot of large rocks. It was good exercise, though. Fortunately, the larger rocks in the trench path (some over 200 pounds...see photo below) were accessible with the backhoe:
As an aside, it's a good thing I didn't run into any rocks as large as the ones we had to take out when excavating the site for the new garage. There were a few that might weigh a couple of thousand pounds (spray can for scale):
Getting back to the generator: I made all of the electrical connections between the generator and the automatic transfer switch. I obtained an electrical permit for this work, and my wiring was inspected and signed off by the municipal code enforcement officer.
The gas line was installed, connected, and tested by a licensed gas technician, who did a final check on it today. Most of the underground portion of the gas pipe is plastic and has a layer of clean sand below and above it for protection against rocks. A wire was placed a couple of inches above the pipe for locating the pipe with a metal detector, and a caution tape will be placed a couple of inches below the surface
Yesterday I programmed the generator via its control panel, set up the wi-fi connection, and installed the mobile link app on my iPhone for remotely monitoring and controlling the generator from anywhere.
It seems to be working fine so far.
Now I have to finish backfilling the trench and sowing some grass and clover seed.

One coffee later.
Not really made today but finished last week and used at the weekend
Removable kitchen unit, fridge,sink usb chargers, lights in cupboards, it's dark on a night time , and clip on table for cooker, for anyone who missed or forgot the earlier posts, all made from scratch with home made lightweight sandwich panels.
Fridge has a divorced compressor unit housed in the left hand section to keep depth of unit to a minimum so as not to affect rear seats.

Resumed building a rear bumper for my Jeep Grand Cherokee
Its being made from plans I found on the Internet, had the steel laser cut start of this year and initially made some progress but then life got in the way
This is where I got to previously, just a few pieces tacked together
More bits tacked on. I have deviated from the plans slightly, the side pieces I have tucked in slightly more than the designer intended as I thought it looked better. However, it does mean that I now have to modify everything else to make it work
I'm also going to have to cut some of the inner panels that are now exposed by the new bumper
Everything circled in red need some cutting/resizing to make it all work
Probably should have started a build thread for the Jeep
