I can't see the hole for the recoil spring/ dust cover retainer?

Have they come up with a way to tension the dust cover to make it more stable for optics?

No, it just rattles about so it is "accurate" up to about ten feet!

In Italy too it's not allowed to possess firearms parts or components without a license.
Especially machine guns components or melee weapons like bayonet those are not allowed even with a license.
Cause they are meant for combat.

There was a talented gunsmith in NZ who rebarrelled a 20 bore Saiga to 577 Snider. It would cycle about 5 rounds before the BP would gum it up apparantly

I'm not sure if model engineers of the time had a hand in developing that weapon as part of the war effort?

Been finishing off some job for a friend today as I had the top part of a flip over tool rest I decided I would make the base for it but very annoyingly one of the legs must have had a fracture so now I have to make the top flip over part as well.

French Resistance fighters were knocking them out in sheds, on top of the ones being air-dropped to them.

Everyone is able to make a blowback sub machine gun
Fixed firing pin, open bolt, a sear, and a not that heavy spring.
It's essentially a 3 moving parts gun.
Heavier the bolt lower the rate of fire
