What’s the trials bike?

It’s a Fantic 200. My Dad likes falling off it on the weekends.

I picked up a used jet wash cheap. The guy I got it from said the gun was leaking. I was hoping it’d be a seal or o-ring.

Further investigation revealed it was the plastic valve body cracked.

The parts aren’t available separately and new guns are £35 and the cracking valves are common place.

I need to practice machining so I thought I’d have a go at making one out of brass.

Some round brass stock was all I had so I set to it.

the original feed line doubles as the template and the return.

4.7mm thick plate for a wood burner,my folder is rated at 3.2,so I scored it with a cutting disc lightly before bending.

Wear block for the baler, didnt have anything the correct size so a bit of woodworkery later that's thinned down

and glued to another piece to get me the correct thickness

A bit of shaping get me something pretty close

Just got to fit it back on and go test the baler, oh thats not good

i own a mitre saw but i find the stands are kinda dumb and stupid and tend to be bulky anyway

searching on the net i found a different solution, ladders most joiners have them in different forms

also you can fit wheels to ladders so if you dont want to undo the mitre saw just wheel it like a stand the rest of the bits are easily stored within a van with less room taken up than a mitre saw stand

i tried everything to build a simple one or even a bought one
but they all tend to be ackward the wheels are so close together on the stands they can tip over for fun as they are kinda top heavy more so on a building site wheeling inside of the shell of the property

i even looked at extending with wings but everything points to ackward storage on vans but you still need a mitre saw stand stand

as goes for ladders i have a few types normal and 6ft plus normal step ladders but they slide lock so even they can be extended

i have the heavy duty of this type so i can use a smaller ladder

whilst also using big ladders for the long lengths

all the things in that video is what i have and carry at best of times but the smaller step ladders can be inplace of the big ladders ( heavy duty )

That's actually a really good idea @gaz1
