Farm machinery is no different to any other moving machinery….”Dont put your fingers, or any other bodily parts where youd not put your wife's wedding present”
I looked them up and learnt something - I always thought they were still Vauxhall components - but yes, the Kallista was Ford bits. This one is actually based on the Ford Escort MK2
All to common, sadly. If its running it can bite you. Switch it off! Makes me cringe when I see my neighbour fiddling with kit while its running. The guy who supplies hay to the stables nearly lost his arm a couple of years ago, a common jam up so he jumps off the tractor leaving the PTO running "I've done this countless times before" this time it bit him, he was off work for a few months and still has the nasty scars as proof.
Transporting the wrong kind of bricksFriday an easy job to move some spare driveway paving bricks.

Two careful trips about 8 miles away.
Sounds painful..Replaced the NVG Mount on my helmet
Pressure cooker?
I picked up a used jet wash cheap. The guy I got it from said the gun was leaking. I was hoping it’d be a seal or o-ring.
Further investigation revealed it was the plastic valve body cracked.
The parts aren’t available separately and new guns are £35 and the cracking valves are common place.
I need to practice machining so I thought I’d have a go at making one out of brass.
Some round brass stock was all I had to I set to it.
The old and the new
