Ho yus !Hopefully, I will have made my Colchester reversible by the end of play today.
Motor is dismounted for wiring back up to the reversing switch, neatly set upon a 10 mm Tufnol plate with polished brass supporting columns thus far....
Looks like it behaves quite well on the 80m band. Make sure that the input and output leads are not near the toroids. Finally finished my band pass filter for 40m.

Sadly I don't have an 80m aerial. I think the leads are part of the problem, I will investigate further and report backLooks like it behaves quite well on the 80m band. Make sure that the input and output leads are not near the toroids.
A header tank apart from the tungsten crash with 2 dabs to go, spot the other duh moment, im doing less and less of this work as im too busy in my day job
I dont like it, i done it on and off for a few years, theres lots of high paying work out there for it, i went back to using spanners, currently fitting motors pumps and aligning them etc along with other odds and sodsI've always wondered, are you as good on stainless?
My mum often has to flatten heavy seams in her sewing with a mallet and an old chopping board but she’s constantly beating the boards to pieces so I’ve squared up and polished a piece of track into an anvil shaped object for her.

I have no idea what type of rail that is!! Other than the usual Flat bottom and Bullhead rail types I see on the track at work, that ones got me puplexed. What type of rail is it?You need the chunk of track I got at work. The web is about 4" thick and the top about 6" wide.
