I never even noticed that rule sat there.
Its the special camouflage on it, makes it hard to spot

About £85 pressure treated wood (21 lengths 89mm x 38mm x 1.6m), £10 fastenings (decking screws and stainless steel coach bolts and acorn nuts) and £25 paint. The cheap ones I've seen are flimsy. Longest part was painting it.

I knocked up ours out 3 lengths of 6x2s and a length of 4x2. I think I could knock them out in about 20 minutes on my own but I was using a nail gun.
I think materials was about £30 if that per bench (pressure treated timber but I do have a discount).

Not so much made today as updated today. Two PCBs for the RTTY/CW transceiver modem. The front panel is just a low resolution test in situ. Final version will be bright yellow with black text.

The signal fades on 10MHz this time of night, it's down in the noise and amazing how well it copes. The modem is being developed bit by bit as we have time and there are already some unique features. PD0LEW in Holland is concentrating on the software and I am doing all the hardware / PCB design. The snap off sections are to suit a 5" display as shown, or a 7" display with just the left section snapped off.

Spent an hour in the shop in the evening
And moved things into the little cabinet I've bought a month or so ago.
In the top drawer we have left to right
Combination square, a ruler, dial indicator, the famous free bit of HDPE/PTFE/polyamide or ethalite, i really don't know what is it really.
Parkside file set, various squares and threading tools grinding guides.
Letters and numbers punch sets in the little grey boxes, compasses.
Mitutoyo calipers, classic vernier, digimatic coolant proof, standard digimatic, and Parkside digital goniometer.
In the wooden boxes baby squares and plane checking straight edges
Precision level beneath the coolant proof mitutoyo.
Feeler gauges and thread pitch gauges.
On the top shelf
Big masculine M45 Emuge tap
Cotter pins set, set screws set, grease fittings, Dormer die stock.
Red box is the SAE UNC UNF taps and dies set.
In the green box an assortment of Güehring, Dormer, Emuge and others machine taps ranging between M2 up to M35 with few BSW and BSP ones.
Cardboard box is a völkel ratcheting tap wrench, blue box on top is a Güehring M16 excessive Length spiral fluted tap .
Red boxes are M3-4-5-6-8-10 HSSE Dormer taps .
Beta broken studs extractors set, cheap Amazon M3-4-5-6-8-10-12 spiral fluted taps, red box is 3/8BSW dormer tap
Remaining are M14 Dormer taps.
Blue box are threading dies, various sizes including Metric, BSW, NPT, BSP.
Behind enemy lines we have a green box containing Morse taper drills mostly white star, grey box is a Fein anular cutters set (picked up and sent to me by a gentle forum member... Embarrassing enough I can't remember who)
Front left, Parkside reduced shank drills, M6 v-coil set, helicoil assortment.
Little yellow box are Parkside step drills, transparent One are Dormer drills from 3 up to 13mm including .0 .25 .30 .5 and .75 sizes for most thread pitches pre holes.
Röhm chuck from the Bosch 1103 drill, little box are impero center drills, little red box are 7.00mm HSS-Co dormer drills.
On the right going upward we have
Güehring 6-10mm decimal drills set
Garanth 1-6mm decimal drills set
Würth 1-13 drills set
Usag M3-12 drills and taps set.
Left to right
Superego 2" pipe cutter, superego double flare set, superego 1/4" up to 1-1/4" pipe threader set.
Little bit hiding there we have an angle grinder replacement armature for my Fein MSFA 666 B (I've been looking for one for months but eventually found it on ebay)
Beta riveter, Parkside hole saws set.
And completely hidden on the right there's my tungsten grinder.
I'm pretty sure I didn't miss anything, still work in progress few things will be moved somewhere else but I really didn't expected I would have been able to put all that stuff inside this little thing
Plus I've practically done a recap of many of my ebay auctions and nearby deals of the last 2 years
Well time to put other things inside and get dinner
