About £85 pressure treated wood (21 lengths 89mm x 38mm x 1.6m), £10 fastenings (decking screws and stainless steel coach bolts and acorn nuts) and £25 paint. The cheap ones I've seen are flimsy. Longest part was painting it.Looks great. Did it work out cheaper than actually just buying one? When I've priced up garden furniture like that in the past I've struggled to buy the materials for what they charge for the built item
I knocked up ours out 3 lengths of 6x2s and a length of 4x2. I think I could knock them out in about 20 minutes on my own but I was using a nail gun.Looks great. Not so much made today as updated today. Two PCBs for the RTTY/CW transceiver modem. The front panel is just a low resolution test in situ. Final version will be bright yellow with black text.
