Brilliant - well done!
They're actually sunglasses with a camera built into them I put on for recording the gauges but forgot to turn them on... Just like I forgot to use earplugsLove the "safety" goggles!
Sounds like a prototype Bki cooker . What type of fire extinguishers and stand by help do you have on hand?Well I couldn't resist giving it a little go at home instead of far away from the village, the blower instantly got stuck against the inlet and choked it out and throttle was a bit sensitive hence combo gave large undesirable flames but she wants to run!
Memmeddu, what is the diameter of the drive belt or better still the measured distance round both pulleys ?
I've an old 770 belt in the garage I can measure up for you if you want . I've not long ago put a new belt on mine .Memmeddu, what is the diameter of the drive belt or better still the measured distance round both pulleys ?
Our Men's Shed is looking for a certain sized flat belt to put on an obsolete SIP planer / thicknesser we have been given . It is in tip top condition save for the missing belt that drives the thicknesser cutters
I had a couple of friends watching (from far away behind cars lol) and combo of some foam fire extinguishers and co2 gas bottles for rapid oxygen removal without damaging it.Sounds like a prototype Bki cooker . What type of fire extinguishers and stand by help do you have on hand?
I don't know right now but I can check tomorrowMemmeddu, what is the diameter of the drive belt or better still the measured distance round both pulleys ?

Practically completely disassembled the Husqvarna K770 Power cutter.
Yet to disassemble the crankshaft and engine block, but this isn't probably required cause it's just 3 years old, and the bearings seem fine , crank seals concern me little bit but the looks fine .
Cylinder is salvageable so I'll keep it ,piston is completely scrap.
I'm pretty confident that they ran this K770 on straight gasoline do to the fact the piston has melted on the top.
But could have been lean too but I didn't found any possible air leaks .
I'm not sure about the cause of the failure but the piston was bone dry no oil and even the pin was dry .
Bottom end is oily cause I've tried to start it using spray oil and brake cleaner ( it does work but had no success with this saw)
Anyways here's the thumbnail for the video which is actually uploading

I did weeks prior to disassembly because I already know that if there was something wrong it would surely be the top endGood job but the state of that piston, skirt and cracked the barrel is scrap too I'm afraid just get a top end kit for it.
Let us all know what you get for it ££££££ etsy maybe Or what would you like it to achieve ...
does look good
That's a shame , I suppose a lot of people make good stuff and it's nice not to be a production line but I suppose this is where the etsy /insta self promotion IT nonsense has to step in . which to be honest is everything I'd want to stay away from .
My trouble is I want to make loads of random stuff, buy can never really be bothered trying to sell it. Usually end up going cheap.
Yes please Rob.I've an old 770 belt in the garage I can measure up for you if you want . I've not long ago put a new belt on mine .
