Today was shopping day.
2 Bessey Clamps, Fronius rollers, ThermalDynamics spares and some other stuff.
Now cleaning some tubes and weld brackets on.
tomorrow will be final assembly.

Made this door the other day, dropped it in for galvanising Tuesday night and had it back and fitted today very pleased. Just need to establish how I’m going to clad it now.

I did one for a neighbor a while ago, it was an over door for security,
This one was clad with 5 bar aluminium tread plate, but you could use barley seed pattern which is a lot less industrial

Thanks for that Paul, I want to keep it in keeping with the look of my garage so I’ll find some wood to clad it with. I may do it like my shed. I’ll see.

A gable frame for supporting a large window on a new house,attaches to this 10.5 m beam,clear span top floor,runs along the ridge line.

Machined a bushing so this plywood wheel would be a snug fit for my half inch bench grinder shaft , then just sanded and turned wheel true so I could apply buffing compound

This makes a quick way to sharpen knives axes chisels etc to a mirror finish with little effort

Maybe not as good as all these fancy Japanese katana spec whetstones but gets tools far sharp enough for me

Get some rouge. Really finishes them. A good pal of mine uses diamond paste to good effect.

cheers will try that out , these arent quite shaving sharp but may be compound may be user skill.

You could try some of that resin plywood for trailers, it might give it a contrast/ modern look with some silver hardware.

@Hood what about making up a removable water tank so you can test run the engines off the boat too.. you'd only need one, easy enough to add, give you more options later.....

Finished an occasional table foe sale by my local men's shed. All the steel barring the "carpet-friendly" feet is reclaimed from old balustrading and scrollwork that was donated/acquired.

With that layout scribing, I was waiting for Vetruvian Man to make his appearance.

There's an idea for all those who who have laser etching stuff.......
