A nice order for 36 of these triangles from 10mm thick steel.
I’ve managed to get 8 out of an offcut and picked up a 2x1 sheet that I’ll need about 1250 of to get another 32 from. This way I’ve got 4 spare to dial in the settings for hardfacing.

Looks like £40 well spent, but yeah, tell yourself it's a tool, a tool labelling organisational tool, they do qwerty ones now. I'm missing your renovation posts , but admittedly it's cold.

Yeah, I saw that too, and liked it.
They're not that expensive, set of 5 works out at a fiver each, they do last well, I just borrow it from work (ahem).....It's not the cost of the printer, it is the cost of the label ribbons

I've heard that air tools shouldn't be stored with the PCL (or other fittings) facing upward. Apparently it has something to do with dust getting into the inner workings of the tool, through the air line fitting, and causing problems. How true is this??
The reason I ask, is that I have been wanting to knock up something similar, but don't want my air tools ruined. At the moment, I keep them in a drawer of my toolbox.

The compatible ones for the Brother printer I have are about £2.50 I think, so not too bad, the genuine ones however are a bit more expensive.It's not the cost of the printer, it is the cost of the label ribbons

I think that’s Americans who barely use their showroom tools. Ours have been stored on the floor, outside, caked in mud and rain and still work. I don’t think a bit of dust going through them will harm them. Most good air tools have a gauze or sintered filter in them after the quick connect.

True but at the same time you'd find all the other things you'd forgotten you had. Labels is not my problem, I know where stuff is. The real problem, it is at the bottom/back and far too much effort to get to.

Available for the label printers are heat shrink label tubes suitable for marking up wires.
And don't let your kids get hold of it. You'll come home to find every kitchen appliance labelled with what it is, fridge, toaster, every light switch marked on and off and loads and loads of backing paper everywhere.
And name tags to be ironed onto their clothes, and the wife's knickers if they have lost their C and A label.

Aye, cost me a fortune when I did the CNC lathe and that was using compatible ones, it was worth it though
Pic below was my solution for under 1mm diameter wire, shrunk the tubing onto the ferule

The motorsports company, just use transparent labels, in clear heat shrink tubes, looks super professional. But they are.
