just never had the time to sort out and organise.
It took two weeks, binned loads of stuff, but mainly making use of lost space. And binning stuff.
Tell me about it.I spent two weeks at the beginning of all the covid lark clearing up and resetting my workshop.I looks better but now I cannot find a B****y thing . I've told wifey to shoot me if she ever gets the impression I 'm clearing up again.

Lovely way of doing cabling. Motorsports company next door put me on to that one, for looms. Looks super professional.Yes label printer, typically all my reels are used up. normally use printable heat shrink tubing for the 6 wires
Heatshrink tubing is brilliant when doing wiring, used it on my last CNC retrofit, bloody expensive mind you

I just used compatible as well. It was eBay I got them from, can't remember how much but think it may have been a bit more expensive than these you linked to.this time im trying amazon special stuff,

One more box sorted.
So, I made bread, by hand.
I always recon that kneading bread by hand was the best way to get your hands REALLY clean. And who notices grey bread?

But the Lego was dirty, so I washed it on a hot wash.

On bigger wires that is the case but that wire in the pic I posted is under 1mm diameter.Cheaper option is to just print out the little ribbon sticker then encapsulate it in clear heat shrink. Looks very professional too.
Yes that is one thing that annoys me as well, always puts out a wee bit before the label so, like you, I try and type a long string of labels so that only one bit is wasted.I've got one of those label printers as well. Handy thing to have, but the wastage annoys me, unless you can manage to do a big batch of printing at once.

Rather than flip it in the 4 jaw I turned a 32mm OD and will use the collet chuck if it indicates ok. 28mm bore so its a bit thin, I will make up a sliding fit plug to strengthen.
Would have 1 thou interferance on the bearing *if* it was to size, but its measuring 27.98mm and I expected an exacy 28mmclose enough.
...as an aside to all of this, it's absolutely critical to not mix up the winding's polarity...
If you coerce it into some kind of English, this tells you how to solve the problem if you think they may be mixed up. It's worth bookmarking or saving:
