Do you want an 8 inch dia inch thick round of Black Delrin plastic to make the blocks . It cuts well on a band saw or with a fine toothed hand saw, can be bored & turned to a remarkable finish . If so PM me your address & I'll send you one FOC .

I very rarely need to use any spanners unless I’m locking the carriage or putting the travelling steady on, so spanner’s stay in the drawer. Don’t need more clutter around a lathe.

@slim_boy_fat The first picture doesn't show it well, But we used tyre gel which has worked a treat
