Wired up the dust collector and tested it, it blows like samuel L jacksons favorite word...

Also made an adapter to mount it on the cyclone I got but no pictures of that.

Started to make the mast for the 7.9m Cheetah today.
Pic of it with the radar bracket sitting in place. The bigger mast behind is one I am doing for 10m Cheetah that will be arriving towards the end of the year, the size difference between the two is massive

Radar base welded on and legs cut to right angle and length with the welding inspector giving it the final going over, think it passed as he wagged his tail.

Cut some feet plates and light and aerial brackets on the plasma.

Got the centre mast welded on with the light brackets etc and temporarily fitted the lights and radar to check it was all ok.

Tomorrow I will hopefully get the feet welded on and then get the holes bored for lights and radar and also get the aerial brackets on and finally fitted to the boat.

Lights, radar, music/VHF/GPS aerials all fitted to the mast today and all wired up and finally mast fitted to the boat.

A very little progress. Column [removable to dismantle for storage ] needs cutting down to a comfortable food-burning height.....





Just need to make the [curly?] tail, ears, snout, internals, grind off the surface rust on the inside and decide what paint to use. Doesn't sound much,does it?

I found the high temp stove paint gave quite a nice finish once baked on. Pretty hard wearing too.

The BBQ paint Aldi do every so often is the muts nuts and cheap too.
