It's an interpretation of a knitting pattern .....knit one , purl one, kit two together . I wonder if he's brave enough to show the whole wall where he's dropped a stitch or two ?

Home made tools I’d say.
Saw the belt on eBay for less than a tenner! I’d look at it if it’s an achievable project for a home latheist. (Is that a word? )

I got the plate cut and welded to the pintle housing I made yesterday, I then skimmed the bore and made and pressed in an acetal bush and bored that out to size.

Next up was make some of these spanners.

They are to remove the lids on these petrol cans as they get tight as the petrol warms up and expands.

Then I milled initials into 4 splicing spikes.

Then I got out the bronze shaft and chopped up some 100mm lengths. Not much left of it now

Milled the bits into 32mm x 22mm rectangle section and then milled some soft jaws on the vice.

Ended up with this.

Well impressed with the Rocol V-Cut SS coolant, it helps with the finish of the milling.

Playing Tetris

The problem with real life tetris is it requires adhesive, and Ive ran out (about an ago). No car tomorrow, forgot to order any, and its going to be wet. I'll do something else. Ignore the taped half tiles, just spacers until I get the cutter out.

Also got most of my power cables done.

Now about to eat dinner. Almost 2am Im a few hours out..

I boxed in some pipework in my front garage, where my hot rod will hopefully soon live. Last thing I want is a torn or dinked water, or gas pipe, while i’m wielding spanners and hammers. I’ve also given the walls a coat of the white stuff, to brighten it up in there, more strip lights to come.

Always in furrow, this was another demo so came with the on land kit. It was a good plough and went well, nothing jumped out as better than the lemken though.

What's the reason for not running on land? Just the faffing with autosteer etc?

On the demo it was because I don't have the GPS moved from combine to the tractor yet, long term all our ground gets muck and slurry and sometimes I'm close to the limit for grip when in the furrow, so would struggle on land.
