I know nothing about it, I just (for the most part blindly) followed these instructions.

Don't know if you have tried an app called flightradar, lets you track commercial flights in real time.

Anyway something I did today. Got two of these to do. Hino 4wd trucks. Blast and paint the chassis.
First one the easier one, owner said it will be easy, nothing in the way, you'l knock it over in no time.
No time means 6hrs

Now the temp of the chassis today here was at 1.30pm 5.5celcius so it will be interesting to see how the painting goes.

I did check the chassis temp at 3.00pm and it was a positively scorching 7.0celcius. Got the paint in the truck body with the A/C going on heat so can warm the paint up for tomorrows painting

Painting a car in winter in an an open shed, dust no problem 'cos old autumn leaves and bird muck are a bigger concern, paint blooming 'cos its raining through the roof and its forming ice on the bonnet..... 7c Hah!

Got some stainless SHS today for a job, never seen this make before but it seemed to weld ok, will see how it lasts

This is what it ended up as, a frame for a baiting table.

And talking of collet racks, I have loads of them but mine are all made of Alu.
First ones I did probably about 15 years ago were these for DA and TG collets.

Done one for the INT and CAT 40 taper chucks

Ones for the lathes VDI holders.

Ones for various lathe boring bar adapters and also for some crawford collets.

And another for ER collets and Chiron tool holders.

Finally one made of steel that fits to the Chirons control panel.

Finished this today , walnut with fruit wood drawer and holly pull ,puts me in the good books so that I can buy a welder without reciprocity , gonna get a small inverter, 1.6 and 3.2 rods, already got the mask and grinder,

Completed the second truck, blasting and washing down with thinners. Now ready for painting

In the morning will get them out in the 'sun shine' hopefully and get some heat into the chassis

Not too exciting, but my first attempt at leatherwork. I made a stitching pony out of an offcut of decking board to hold the piece while sewing it together.
A lot to learn, but I have plenty of scraps of leather to practice on to get me going.

Not my space. It is at the farm where I am, these will be fertilizer spreader trucks.
here they are painted with a Jotun epoxy

This one here need a tool box fitted behind the cab on the left hand side. So once I have completed painting go start making brackets to mount the tool box. Painting takes about 2hrs, then cleanup. I am here for the duration so why not do something else, plus there may be an extra dollar for it

The Daf 66 (1972 to 1975) became the Volvo 66. The Daffodil was otherwise the 30/31/32, in production from 1961 to 1967. The 66 was a reworked 55 with mostly cosmetic improvements and changes to the power train.
The rear suspension and Variomatic was completely redesigned, learning from DAF's experience in Formula Three racing. The Variomatic was much more robust and now incorporated a differential for smoother low speed maneuvering. The unpredictable swing axle rear suspension of the 44 and 55 was changed to a leaf sprung De Dion tube axle, which greatly improved handling and comfort.

Daf enjoyed quite a bit of success in racing, rallying, autocross and rallycross. Their achievements in getting their two entered cars to the finish in the 1968 London to Sydney Marathon led to them producing a 55 and 66 model badged 'Marathon'. One of the successful cars entered again in the 93 event and again finished.

Sad they had the 'little old lady' image, they were better than that.
