This has been mentioned here before.
A nice vertical burner. Twin jet.



Burning away and looking good.
But it is a Benzene fuelled item, I don't have benzene. I have paraffin.

So today a friend helped me convert it to paraffin.
A simple job, to do.

Alter the jets, the size is depending on what size jet hole and internal dimensions. I took good advise from a very good place.

The jets were a pain to remove, but we done it.
I all ready had the NRV done, so one les job.



WOW.
What a difference, to the sound and the heat generated.



Balanced burn pattern as well.

Made this, some 25x25x2mm box and some 25x3, 50x3mm and 50x5mm flat.

It's one of these...


That will fit behind the drivers seat.


And my sectional ladder will strap to it.

Nothing special just practice
M12 Allen bolt welded on an ½" galvanized water pipe (barely 3mm thick)
Used 312L electrode to avoid zinc fumes
Unfortunately cleaning the bolt it loose its colours

And I had *another* go at the cbr6 fairing. I am getting better at it but still very orange peely. I think one more coat tomorrow - each fresh attempt I am flatting 1200 grit, so there is not very much paint.

An unusual handrail up a stone and oak spiral staircase,customer also wanted a gate at the top,this was a lovely tactile traditional rope about 38mm diameter.

The Upol S2085 was very nice to spray, perfect consistency, no runs, used about 100ml for two coats. Started on all the edges then the flat bits. The bottle has some extremely long chemical names - Smells of marzipan

...All in ratios, so for a triangle,you need the tool spinning three times faster than the spindle, a hexagon 6 times as fast.

The spindle:tool ratio also depends on the number of inserts in the cutter. It also influences the shape (concave or convex) of the flat produced. This presentation is very good (skip to 20 min. for specific discussion on shape, insert and ratio):

Overall, I was disappointed though as it did not give me any info. on making counterfeit 50p coins.

I had a crack at descaling my 20mm table top with brick acid. It didn’t remove the bigger bits of scale completely but it did well of a 3 hour soak.

Duct tape walls and diluted brick acid.

Three hours and a light wire brushing latter.

Remember the pergoda,well some copper sheets arrived,quarter hard,so props soft,and the first of 16 sheets placed,I’ve cut slits in the sheets to help form the concave profiles,especially as the radius increases higher up,4 pop rivets used on the first sheet,some slots were used as tags,second photo shows me pulling them around with tongs to keep a tight wrap gripping the framework.Only the last closing sheet will have visible rivets.

I have access to and use regularly a Morgan folder identical to the one shown in your first picture, it is a terrific piece of kit.

Thanks @gaz1 for showing those,I couldn’t do that style now for a number of reasons,mainly because I’ve cut and fitted the first sheet.Im using 0.7 mm,they ,I think are 0.5 or less.

Priceless money
Had to repair an angle grinder and a drill
The first one had a bearing failure
Contacted the customer said the price for the replacement and work .
Almost went to buy the new bearing when I remembered that a 607 one was already in my toolbox

Replace no money needed for parts

The drill was just the switch ,I've replaced it with another identical one saved from trash
Again free parts .

He asked me if the price was changed because the switch wasn't meant to be replaced
I've said not



I'm Happy because the customer wasn't happy to pay for the work but he was happy to know that the price remained the same
Only profit

And even if he has something to say about , I don't care because he's already on the black list
I don't have time to waste with people who won't pay
