Behringer Neutron nice big patchbay dual osc and can get very odd if you put your mind to it.
Behringer Pro1
Again dual osc.

Clone of the 1980s pro one by sequencial circuits.

Behringer Crave
Single osc with a nice patchbay. Useful in conjunction with the neutron but a capable bass synth on its own.

Novation SL mk3.
8 track sequencer 8 track arpeggiator.
Midi and CV controller. Also very customisable to intergrate with a Daw.

Cheap mixer. Just about enough for my needs right now

Emulation of the 606 707 717 808 and 909.

Tb-3
Emulation of the tb303.

Roland sh-01
Another virtual analog. 64 note poly and very nice for pads and chords.

There's a mpc Renaissance hiding under the monitor
Software/hardware based so not limited by ram and CPU like the old standalone gear


Dumped all my old midi controllers in the loft for now

Started modifying the rubish old cam chain tensioner to be a manual type. Impressed in the casting zero porosity and takes a nice finish, unusual for a honda cast part, but a new one does cost 75 quid.

A quiet build day. In that limbo were I am waiting on a call from work, that never came. So I had a day pottering.



This Meggar takes a PP7 battery. Yes, they are available, but for a lot of pennies, so I brought myself an adapter.



The adapter allows me to use a PP3 9v battery.



Lots of space, but I have added a off cut of sponge to stop the rattle of the battery.




Fitted the V belt I got yesterday. The main frame is Oak, but I noted when the motor was running there was an annoying resonance and vibration.
So strips of Linden wood was inserted in between the base and the frame.
The linden wood with absorb the vibration and can be replaced when it gets worn.
Oh yes. I got some Dome nuts fitted to the retaining bolts.



A small job for a local multi use hall.
Pointers.

All of them are made from Oak floor cut offs.

To hide the shanks, splits and other defects the wood was sanded and filled.

As wood filler is difficult to hide, some are to be painted, some are to be waxed.








The decent and decorative defects are being used as a point of interest.

I must have made it incorrectly then as mine doesn't! Saying that, I've only tried crispier bits from the outside...

Funny how 'Project Management' said she'd never tried it before and, after trying it, proclaimed she wasn't a fan but I soon found that bits (just out the tin and not cut up) kept disappearing from it...

Parkin, haven’t had any for a long time, my mother used to make it, my wife has as well. Not for a long time though, from what I recall hasn’t it got a sort of “gritty” texture, or am I thinking of something else. It’s good though

Started working on the mag drill
I got it for because the gear housing is cracked
I've disassembled the drill in it's bigger components
Essentially I've made the drill to divorce from the magnetic stand
I've reassembled the gear housing using some zip ties and my vise to keep the parts together and I gave power while it was secured in the vise
It works pretty well
I have to make an enclosure (more likely a clamping device) to keep the parts together ,an additional bracket to reduce the stress on the drill .
I can make an AVE style review
I don't know where to
There are pretty interesting features someothers are really bad
It's a Chinese Z3040

I can see this was made with an eye for detail, and a lot of effort has been put in.
But to really apreciate and learn from it, it would be nice to know what is does or is, or am I the only one who has no clue?
