That's an understatementWell they do tell us they can multi-task
At least the aluminium will corrode rather than rusting to the steel and getting stuck like the originals plus easier to remove the aluminium in the future if needed and I'm sure they will last quite a few years anyway

Not made so much as installed.
Small solar panel and battery in a storage shed.
Currently have a small 4" USB powered fan running off a powerbank which I swap over every few days.
Just keeps the air moving through the shed a little.
Got fed up with changing powerbanks over so bought a small solar panel setup last year and have just got around to installing it.
Also installed a couple of 12v lights from a caravan so I can actually find stuff in there.

Brass or bronze perhaps, but alu will be worse than steelnand galvanic corrosion will make it fast I've had several arkward jobs trying to remove steel shafts like a motorbike rear wheel spindle. I had to hold hacksaw blade by hand and could just about cut between the swingarm, wasnt fun!

He's right - it'll be rapid on bare steel and moisture around. The aluminium oxidising will make it like it's welded to the shaft - you will be cutting it off in lumps or machining it off.
Bought a Subaru Forester some years ago for the then OH - she complained the fan was crap, even on high. Finally found the filter, buried up under the dash - I reckon it had never been changed, despite the ticks in the main dealer full service history. She was dead impressed with the now hurricane force through the "new" filter . . .
We'd split up, with her taking the car, before she discovered I took the "full flow" option in the heater inlet . . . no filter at all. I suppose the matrix itself is now clogged instead.
In other countries it is common to have the clothes washer in the bathroom.
With the corrosive wet grass in there it will corrode the ally quite quickly. I've had to work on too many ally deck mowers and the amount of eaten away deck on them is surprising.

They can do one normal task, badly, whilst whining about it. That is the limit of female multi tasking.Well they do tell us they can multi-task
Oh well that's a 10yrs time future me problem, at least I can just melt the ali off
