The wife's polytunnel needed a bit of TLC. Each upright is sunk into the ground into concrete, but the 3"x 2" timbers that stretch between uprights have mostly composted themselves. This what the plastic cover is held down between uprights. So I've replaced the worst ones with plastic lumber. This is the door hole.

On the sides the battens that screwed to the 3" x 2", trapping the cover were all rotten so I've replaced them with plastic battens too.

The wife is now getting on with seed planting and bed prep. The wide angle lens make the uprights look like they are leaning inwards.

The fat barsteward properly broke the shed stool again just now, not just the caster this time but totally destroyed the threaded insert as well. drilled out and hammered a flanged nut in, couldn't be bothered to get a decent earth so shamelessly glued in.

Not sure I even had the gas on tbh let alone the earth, think I had the lid on but was probably watching shed telly Think I spent longer to post than to do it - shameless

Couple of jobs completed on our old Renault Master camper

Replacing the front shocks, the lower shock sleeve goes into the front suspension arm and the drivers side wasn't coming out. I could twist it with a large stilsons but that was it.



So I tapped a 16mm thread inside the sleeve and knocked this up from some 16mm bar and a random nut



Job done

Next up was the passenger front wheel bearing. My 12T press wasn't shifting it so ran a rough **** bead of weld around the inside of the bearing race and once cooled down the press shifted it

I also knocked this up to press the hub out of the bearing. There appeared to be no way of supporting the knuckle and pressing the hub out



Isn't pretty, 3mm box with some additional bracing inside, I didn't expect it to stand up to the force required to shift the hub and I wasn't wrong, added some 4mm plate to the top and it still buckled but managed to get the hub out

Got the drivers side to do so additional internal bracing will be added
