I don't have any in the pipeline waiting to be restored by members of MIS or the tool charities.
But I will look out for some.

Mixer stopped,thought it strange,1 careful owner,low hours,the belt had detached,the belville washer had cracked causing the drive pulley to slide out of alignment,made a sleeve with an m6 grubscew to push it further back on the shaft.

I bought a weight caddy for the Olympic bars in our "gym" a while ago. Very sturdy but our weights are too small/dense cast iron, we think it's probably intended for larger concrete weights. The weights hit the floor as their diameter is too small

I may make the stand for the dumbell weights as I can't see anything similar to what we need.

Good to see you've put some wheels on it to move it around, maybe a longer handle so you don't put your back out moving it.
I assume the odd one's mate is now a lathe backplate.

That's not a Belleville, it's a push-fix.

Fuel tank from an e type historic race car that spun rear ended a barrier and the tank shot out of the boot, I don't normally fix things like this, I'll put some air in it tomorrow night I run out of throat depth on my bench mounted bead roller. doh

Re attached these limit switches to the opposite side to prevent being hit by falling tree trunks,also made the angle plates above them for additional protection.

dads van failed its mot. again. not something I touched mind. went through emissions fine and for the first time since 2018 there was no oil leak advisory's. this is good....

what it did fail on was a rear control arm bush. they are a git to change, a press fit metalastic bush into the arm.

a slightly modified renault laguna rear subframe bush tool did the job just fine. the small section is slightly too large to sit correctly on the edge of the bush to pull it in square, so i drilled the center hole out so the center tube wasnt being pressed on and flipped it over, which worked fine.

Wife is into building these miniature diorama thingies at the moment...
Scratch built ceiling light, dodgy connections. Just bits of wire twisted and heat shrink over them.
Looked like 2 of the leds had loose connections when finished. Probably from bending into shape.

Ended up cutting heat shrink back, and soldering it all together.

Bit on the fiddly side.

Yesterday I had a small human with me.

This is our results.

This plane needed some attention.
The rust on the sole had left pits, So a trip to a friends garage and the surface grinder. Plus a cheeky Mac D Breakfast.

The handles were in need of a few fresh coats of French polish.

The blades was sharpened on a oil stone. It is now sharp enough to shave arm hairs.

Not all the stuff I get needs a lot of attention, some just need a clean and a bit of care.

This is a good example.
The blades was rsty and dull, the handles the polish was flaking.

The sole was tidy, but a few bits of rust.

Plate glass, 1,000 grinding paste and a coffee.

This french polish is more Meths than polish.
So a good rub with a lint free cloth and the old polish is soon revived.

No gold leaf this time.

Before it went I chose to give it a service.

Fixed over two days this week.
A steel bench bought from @pressbrake1 a couple of years ago then given to a friend. Friend decides after a year that it's too big.
Cue a bout of cutting disc action and I was able to fit it in the estate and then move it through the house.
It stood for 9 months while I put off the inevitable reassembly.

Since it was windy I had to use MMA, vertical, at that. The last couple of welds were horizontal and, I reckon, almost acceptable
I now have some garden bench space
