i hit a road block, at 5am, in the dark, trying to top my lorrys oil up. i hadnt needed to do so for a few years, however it had just reached low so i had a go. and failed. the cap fell apart. i dropped in at my new local daf dealer and picked a new cap up. a bit of out of the box thinking and its sorted.

not much left of the old oil fill cap....

Oil change on the stables genny today, why do they mount the engine so the drain plug is above a frame rail and the oil runs everywhere.

Lack of joined-up thinking. Same with mine. Actually, the larger one isn't too bad, but I still used the suction gun to empty it, rather than it pour all over the floor.
