There's a seal missing in pic2.A few months ago now (!) we took a tile off the side of the bath to sort a leak, last night with some some careful use of a borescope and some string we managed to re-attach a pipe to the overflow.

Quite proud of that, been disconnected for years, apparently a plumber had previously said it couldn't be done without taking the bath out, and he'd blanked off the where it tees into the waste. Tested, all dry under the bath, jobs a goodun.
An hour later, the ceiling downstairs is all soaked.I think the bath waste must be completely disconnected from the soil stack for so much water to have escaped.
Cue an hour stuffing the borescope down beside the bog, under the basin, etc. Lots of water but no idea where the leak is. I think it's going to be a case of cutting some strategic inspection holes in the ceiling below next weekend.
