Static Arc have sold 264 of these welders,a proper in depth review would be interesting.

Thank you i do not expect it to be a perfect welder for the price but it does not mean it will not do the job in the right hands. i have used a welder (some years ago ) 3 time the price and it was not good at all. i do not do as much welding as i did years ago so did not want to spend a lot to have it sat a round not doing anything for some times weeks on end.Alright, bad start, just had alarm bells ringing.
Welcome, Donk.
We love photos on this forum, it helps us whittle the 'all mouth' to the people who actually do things.
If you have a mixed welder with good results, I'm sure we'd all love to see how your getting on with it.
There's been so many threads on why not to buy one, it be lovely to see one supporting the machine.
I used to live in Devon, lovely place, just rained too much.
Don't be put off, we are a lovely bunch, but your second post just looked like iffy spamming.
Apologies. Don't be put off.
Just a guess,noI've not googled the machine in question.
What does it come with mig and tig torch?
I just bought one. Totally useless, zero penetration, the weld just sitting on the top of the metal, it fall of.230 quid. Please review it mate.
This is just an example, I tried different metals, sanded before. Yes earth clamp, funny.Try cleaning the metal, and attaching the earth clamp to it...!
Odd, my static arc 140 mig works perfect, thick or thin material, Flux core or gas. You have set the polarity correctly for the wire type you are using?I just got a replacement from the supplier and..... kinda working. It is definitly not a quality stuff, working properly only over the 100A range, hard to use for smaller jobs.
