OK, I have definitely got a cold for Christmas! Haven't been ill at Christmas for years but figured I was due something. (Very stressful year).

Felt off this morning with a not sore but icky throat, tried doing some digging in the garden and had a cracking headache. 2 paracetamol and a shower took the edge off and managed the pub for a couple of pints with SWMBO and daughter.

Back home and dozed off. Woke up cold, a bit sniffly with a slightly sorer throat. Lemsip, fruit, a handful of vitamins etc. Eating everything in sight. Huddled under a blanket half watching Armageddon.

SWMBO's cooking the full works Chrimbo dinner for when my lad gets in off shift.

Got the Wera advent calendar (agin) and very happy as always. Not a single pair of socks this year though, and am really need new socks. I’m going have to buy them myself dammit.

Rum and coffee.

Make a pot of Russian coffee, sip. If your eyeballs grows hair, it is strong enough.

Pour 4 fingers of Pussers Gunpowder rum.

Sip rum, build lego.
Sip coffee, then rum, build Lego.

Repeat, refill drinks as required.
