I agree, modern socks are the pants.

I am still using 20+ year old ex Navy socks.

I wholly recommend these socks from Costco (you will find others selling them at a big markup). Despite leaving woollen deposits all over the carpet they are indestructible but still very comfy and never get too warm so sweaty feet.

The wife wanted some new wall lights, I have a cunning plan to install them that will not involve drilling or running cables, adhesive strips and rechargeable LEDs that screw into a standard bulb holder

Both my prezzies to myself arrived this morning

a two piece elasticated rod holder so as I can leave one of my nice lure rods set up and secondly

A s/h lumix TZ 35 off the bay of thieves , I've two lumix camera both have the dreaded broken zoom lever ( i believe this is fixable for about £50 ) but this came untested with a battery ( it arrived in nice little nikon case and sod all else apart from the plastic bag ) and a broken battery cover catch . If alls good I'll have a go at changing the catch over ( how hard could it be ! ) at worst I've gained another battery and case for £15 . Got on charge now so we'll see how it goes . We don't really do gifts so I'll be getting mostly cash and probably a few unwanted trinkets just for the sake of giving something .

well I've given it a good charge and ................. other than the catch it all appears to be working perfectly , whilst having a good scan of it I did notice that it's "made in Japan " unlike the other China one replacing the catch maybe a bit more faff than I thought mainly because it's that small I can't feking see it

Tail section is very week.
Undercarriage can just take the weight.

The wing build is interesting, but they should of, by now reprinted the build manual.
