The fat floats to the top when it cools, dig through and throw away the fat, the dark layer at the bottom is all the remaining meat juices and very small particles of the meat that sink to the bottom during cooling, eat the juices/meat on bread that's the good bit....Noooooo way! im still not paying that price and im sticking to the deep fat fryerThe Ninja (!) was effectively on sale on eBay (Ninja Foods iirc) was "refurbished" which is effectively new but massive discount then with extra 15% off cost me £110 I think (down from £260 list). This is the AF400, the AF451 is probably better with built in (?) temperature probe, updated and somehow "smarter".
I wouldn't touch a Nija eitherim still not paying that price and im sticking to the deep fat fryer
dripping lard goose all fatty stuff but taste way much better

even at that price im still sticking to deep fat fried stuff as i like the flavour of old cooked foodI wouldn't touch a Nija either
This is the one we have - the split oven at 70:30 is very useful
£99 not bad

Easy Fry Dual Air Fryer EY901N40 - Black, 8.3L
Double your air frying possibilities with the two different sized drawersshop.tefal.co.uk
Mind you with an Aga running for 9 months of the tear an air fryer is totally redundantDecades ago we had a metal box on site with a hole low down that you pushed a hot air stripper nozzle into, it heated food and warmed the room, you could also.put the tea pot on top to keep warm, I know I should have copyrighted that![]()

We make our own chips from potatoes...it's just so simple to cut up a spud and throw it in.My missus makes her own hash browns from fresh gratted potatoes and throws them in the air frier.

Do you toast the bread first? Or just make up a sarnie and stick it in there? It also makes the best cheese toasties
I do both, depends on mood and time. My favorite is to fully toast one side of the bread, this faces inwards, then toast up the outside while the cheese meltsDo you toast the bread first? Or just make up a sarnie and stick it in there?
That's how I do cheese on toast...it's quicker than the toaster I think as it's up to temp as the cheese is added. My favorite is to fully toast one side of the bread, this faces inwards, then toast up the outside while the cheese melts
I use the air fryer for everything I can. Triple cooked chips come out nice, as do poached eggsThat's how I do cheese on toast...it's quicker than the toaster I think as it's up to temp as the cheese is added.
My multi cooker has a removable pot....buying a spare pot has really worked out well. It means I can lift out one pot with my chicken (and leave it to keep warm) and then add a new pot to do the chips.

Ah, I see you've got as much understanding of how microwaves and this work as our H&S bloke. He had to be educated in some fairly basic ideas too.If air fryers are glorified fan ovens then Altatherm is a glorified microwave...

Different technology. Plenty of people do infra red ovens, but not using this specific tech. Rather a lot of patents on it, taken a long time to get where it is, waiting for technology to catch up with the idea. Spun out of a major US company, it's quite exciting stuff.Ahh I see - an infra red cooker!
A British company does a much better version
