as ive had mine glowing red and its 3mm thick stainless steel 120 x 120 x 3mm
this is at the throat entrance at the vortex entrance it will be higher they do burn at 1500f 2000f

its external temps on thick stainless steel is recorded over 1800f so they do get hot

the best comment would be they want everyone on electric to pay for the rip off stationJust heard on the shed radio tonight that gas boilers are going to be the next to go. Going to have to install air source heating.
Just pop every one into a small pod and it saves on heating and such ?Maybe, maybe not. Who's going to pay for the extra insulation, windows, air cleaning system and finally the underfloor heating needed to make air source viable?
By mid 30's maybe some of this will have been solved, but we're a long way off right now.
