It is.
It reduces fuelling, to stop the heater running rich due to lack of oxygen.

Mine is a similar all in one design. Don't pay extra for 8kw it's just a rebadged 5Kw.

It's easier/quicker to get working but placement is a bit more limited as you need access to fill the tank.

Mine is in an old wheeled trolley. On the floor. I cut a 4" hole through the garage wall an poked the exhaust and inlet pipes through it will some rockwool to fill in the gaps.

Otherwise it's just the same as the others.

I have an issue where when we leave the heater it runs out of fuel early in the morning, I would like to fit a bigger tank, are these available or am I as well making my own? Any suggestions?
Sorry, it is an "all in one" as above and the tnk is but 5 litres, even a 10 litre tank would get me there.

Could you buy another 5litre tank and mount it alongside the existing one and add a tee connection? Spare tanks are on eBay.

I've seen different types of tanks used, flat 5L & 10L ones bolted onto the wall, also a portable 20L one on a shelf.
Search for portable or boat/marine/outboard fuel tanks, the neatest option is probabily to replace yours with a larger tank ...

I pushed the pipe through the right angled connector and down to the bottom of the tank. Fitted fine but might have drilled it a little can't remember now.
Flat out a 4 to 5kw unit uses 0.5L an hour so I get 60 hours runtime.

4kW maybe, but certainly won’t get 5kW of hot air with 0.5l of gas oil. Less, if burning kerosene.

Just replaced a non working eberspacher with one of these today on my boat. Really easy to wire in and the only issue I had was it drawing fuel up from the tank. I ended up sucking the fuel up to the pump and once that was done it fired right up and ran great

Diesel or kerosene/heating oil. 28 something's is the right Kero I think....

Red diesel is easy enough to get. Ask any digger type person, some garages actually sell it

kero is absolutely fine for these heaters.

Diesel…. Not paraffin … Unless you either like replacing the pump or are going to add lubricant.

Mine has run for 5000 hours on kerosene with no problems at all. Where did you get that idea from?
Kerosene is cheaper and cleaner than diesel.
