Running Tig welder from house supply

Thanks for all your help everyone who has chipped in were up an running, must have been the wire. Seems to be fine sockets not getting warm an no popping electric, h/f sparks no problem looks like I've got myself a nice little machine. Much appreciated

These newarcs only take 20 amps max.a 16a blue socket wired in 2.5mm is plenty to take its current

So what is the best and safest way to get this going it seems fine on 13amp plug, welded for 2 hours tonight plug didn't get warm neither did the wire. Also ran the stick welder on 110A an that was fine. But if I can make it safer I'm down for that, I wasn't sure if it was run on a 16A or a 32A plug. So is the best bet to use a fly lead (13A plug to 16A female socket-16A male socket to welder 2.5mm through out)?

It won't make any difference, you will still be limited by the 13A fuse so may as well keep it like that 'til you get set up in the new premises and can have a decent supply installed.

Still going strong been running it at high amps with no problems stick & tig. No hot wires, plugs or tripping the fuses all good thanks to everyone who chipped in to get me going
