Will you get anything out of evolution I have been at loggerheads with them over a £100.00 stainless blade with them for quite a while now

Hmm. Seeing this thread reminded me I wanted some more clamps for a second saw. Unfortunately the ones I had for my dewalt originally don't fit it.
Found them.

Half the price I paid for the stand.
Yup. Echoes my first thought. There are occasions when I'm second fixing il have the small saw inside for final cuts and the big saw outside to cut roughly to size so both would see use. Might just fix the clamps to a bit of ply and screw whatever saw I'm using to it. Gives me a handy bench then too.Yes I went through this just after I bought the saw / stand.. I decided to buy another stand for the clamps and use the rest of the stand as a , well .... handy spare stand I suppose .
I bought the largest evolution mitre saw and stand in 2020. When the saw is pushed back to its resting position, it tilts back, making the base of the saw unlevel. Too much movement in the clamping mechanism. I'd suggest paying more and getting a better designed stand.

Nah. It's very wobbly when folded up and wouldn't be stable. With the legs folded up, would the Titan stand be usable on a bench top as well?
No but two scaffold bars would take the place of the stand no botherWith the legs folded up, would the Titan stand be usable on a bench top as well?
Not convinced. You really need to see one, but it's not at all stable and wouldn't sit well on a bench while folded.I am thinking it could be mostly used on the bench or legs dropped and on the floor as required. For me this would solve the issue of where to store the stand when not really needed and the support extensions would be useful addition when on the bench too.
So, 48mm tube is the way forward.
Thanks.
