I have the Elegoo one with the tipping bed the Saturn 4 Ultra.Just wondering how messy they are when it comes to removing the print for washing & curing? Is it easy to keep the resin contained, without getting drips or splashes everywhere?
I'm feeling the urge for one.
It is messy and it smells.
It could be yours if you wanted it, it even comes with a cleaning and curing station!

To the point.
How come you're getting shut? Is it due to them being messy, smelly, faffy things?

That and resin burns so gloves until it's cured. You will see some YouTubers are less concerned but I have enough issues that I don't take risks.

Wise decision.
The one thing that is holding me back currently is that the only place for it to go is the bedroom. Obviously some carbon air filter would be necessity, but I'm just as/more concerned about the prospect of resin dripping everywhere & such.
Reason I'm considering one is for ornaments for the flat, gardens & suchlike. Well, I say ornaments, but we're talking the likes of gargoyles, faeries, dragons etc. Yes, I know I'm weird.

They are smelly. My brother uses one in a spare bathroom with an upgraded extractor fan. You can now get water washable resin. They still stink but at least there is no after stink from the isopropyl alcohol bath. I am impressed with the whole thing. It works really well. I just don't want to take any risks as my health is precarious at best!

It's the Saturn 4 Ultra 16K I've been eyeing up; The latest version. Bundled with the Mercury Plus V3 wash/cure unit. Is it the Mars Mate filter you have? That's what I'd probably get. Replacement filters appear to be over ⅔ the cost of a new, complete unit for that though.
Yes I was thinking of this one as well. The stink doesn't come out of the machine much when running anyway. It is when you open it and and transfer to the wash tank etc.

Exposing circuit boards. I've written some software that takes the gerber files from KICAD etc., and generates files for the resin printer to display. I can then drop the presensitised board onto the display and just click "print".
