Most 1/2HP single phase motors are 71 frame size which need just over 200mm height with the connection box on top and the B3 mounting holes (front/back) are at 90mm centres.

so I could rotate the body through 90 degrees so the connection box is at the side unless this can be done with the foot mounting,.
Just checked, you can take the feet off and mount them either side so the height would be 160mm which would fit, just need a plate with slots in it to adapt the 90mm centres on the motor feet to the 75mm rails. I only look at this is the budget versions don't suit.
