but, is it better than Sea Foam's "Deep Creep"
? Probably, nobody knows, but I've got 5 different products in the garage, and in the absence of data, I don't think I need any more. If somebody came up with a convincing test method, I'd happily compare all of them, and probably find they all are pretty similar. There have to be limits to how well any concoction of chemicals can do what's being asked of them. Popeye reckoned that spinach was best, but also quite liked Olive Oil .

I have 54 years experience with seized nuts , bolts etc and have tried most of the penetrating oils around , I for one don’t need any data to personally know what works!

I think I have about 60 years. Releasing agents are much like religions - or maybe medicines....and placebos! All a matter of personal belief.
I'm really not having a go at anyone, but the lack of data and the lack of a test method just annoys me and I often think about how a good test could be done; it's a challenge. I've mentioned the "spreading on a rusty surface test" I did previously on the forum; that showed some interesting behaviours, but not sure it proved anything. Would love to hear from anyone else who has any ideas for testing. I know already that the torque measurements on nuts and bolts would have to be done on large numbers of samples; the results are so scattered, which proves something in itself. I've also thought about electrical properties between two rusted surfaces, but don't think that's viable.
