What is the point? I had to remove an injector pump today from a JCB loadall with JCB's own dieselmax engine and because the timing gears are at the rear I had to remove the entire engine. And you need a special tool to remove the cover from gear. Another special tool to press the pump shaft from the gear. And it's a plain taper fit with no key or spline. I hate modern kit.

Not so bad on common rail. There are a lot of mechanical inj pumps without a key in the drive flange, once removed they have to go off to be set up

What age was that loadall? I’ve got one to do that I’m putting off. It’s got a leak on the stop solenoid. O ring costs a couple of quid but I can’t access the thing without taking the pump off. Which will be many things out first

It's 2007 with a Delphi pump. Actually the engine isn't bad to get out but you shouldn't need to. The same loadall a year earlier has a Perkins engine and it would be a 30 minute job.
Are you sure it's leaking from the stop solenoid? There's a small metal plate close to it held with two Allen or torx screw's I've had a leak from there before. It's not easy but doable from underneath.

Citroen DS. To remove the rear wing undo one bolt, same size as the wheel nut then gently pull. On mine I place a sock over the bumper blade to stop scratching the wing.
The timing chain on a DS is also at the rear, engine out job, or do like a previous owner of my car did, cut a big hole in the bulkhead.

the pump on my T4 is leaking at the throttle body shaft.....bought the bits then lost em in the move......
found to do it prop u need to take the pump off, then u need a dial gauge to set the pump up....
all my life never done that before.....
so decided to just take it in to the Bosch agent locally.....just cant deal with this crap anymore.....
it's also getting ready for a new clutch....
went to the local garage, (always busy) and asked for a price for labour......
€100 euro's for cash with the old parts in the back.....just not gonna bother myself....
