Hi Chris, I just found your thread. You're doing some fantastic work with this refurbishment. I am now following to see the next steps.
I bought plans from Powerfab a few years back with the intention of building a 4-wheel powered version of digger, but realised I didn't really have the time, as fun as it would have been.
I ended up buying a very tired old IHI IS10F, which is a 1.2 tonne tracked machine. Like you I went through replacing numerous bushes and have more to do, although none were as bad as you've shown. The king post had been badly repaired before, and the hole was a complete mess with masses of slop. I ended up borrowing a mag drill to use as the power behind a home brew line boring setup. It worked out really well, enabling me to bore out the hole, sleeve it and bore back to its original size, prior to installing new bushes in the chassis, and making a new pin.
Here are a couple of photos in case it helps with something in future. From what I have read above you have the tools to do this.
Sorry there's so much clutter in the background.
The two cones help align the boring bar (Ø25 EN8 bar) with the existing holes.
Flat plate to mount the mag drill to.
A weighty set up, held still by the bench vice and supported by assorted timber blocks
1/4" HSS home ground cutter
