Oh no the Integrale, wasn’t mine it was my mates, it went round corners as though it was defying the laws of physics, it was an Evolution, the last of them, back in the day it could run rings around an Escort Cosworth in the back roads, I wouldn’t have believed it if hadn’t unfortunately been in the passenger seat!Id a Monet Carlo for a while , but the back and the front couldnt decide whos turn it was to be in front .



Many moons ago I rebuilt a mates 930 turbo engine, that turned into a money pit. Threads in the mag casings pulled, everything is eyewateringly expensive, head studs alone were £60 each and there are over twenty of them. The engine rebuilld cost more than the car, there may well be aftermarket gear available now.. the VW/Porsche gear is not too bad, my brother came back from the states with a very comprehensive big bore rebuild kit for his 914 which included four downdraught webers and he had change out of £1500.
