I just got a new Sealey Premier pillar drill yesterday. It will be used for mostly automotive tinkering and some light fabrication projects. There may be the odd occasion where I am using metal holesaws or large drill bits in mild steel.
I see that Sealey have an optional kit to add drilling oil or coolant feed by bottle on the drill with a collector bottle below the table which has channels inbuilt. Mine has this thread drill hole and mounting screws etc on the drill. So it would be direct bolt on.
Question is - do members think this would be useful to install such a kit? I guess the alternative is to use a hand squeeze bottle of oil and / or turn the speeds away down. Or use drilling compound not an oil.
Or a coolant solution would be better?
Again I appreciate I am a DIY user and this is likely overkill to some degree. Besides adding more £ to this deal the convenience of the kit appeals to me.
