The sink is a very convenient height in my bathroom......Sit down toilet visits for me in the night these days, there's less distance to fall.

Man that is complicated, mine is very simple.
Noooo.
You’ll have no end of trouble with it. The new ones are so bad and dribble so much welsh water are training up plumbers to fix them for free, the leakage uses far more water than they should be saving. Absolute rubbish.
edited and fixed for youAnd what Bl... idiot fitted the toilet so close into the corner, so that you have to be a f..... contortionist to work on the bloomin’ thing. f.. bolts who the hell designed these things Oh, yes, that was me.![]()
Ah now, you may have linked a good one, but most are rubbish, and buying dearer is no guarantee to not be buying said rubbish. Did you specifically say buy this one and not any other rubbish? With respect, that's nonsense
The one I linked is excellent, have fitted hundreds without issue including on my own home
If you buy the cheapest, nastiest one I would agree, but not the one I linked
Yep, the bloomin thing blisters?i found the b&q the same fitted new 18.00 for it and the damn thing was leaking into the toilet a year after as the rubber seal had failed

Sounds like I’m having a go, but actually it’s good to see that someone does make a decent version, and someone with experience (you) has tried and tested it. So to be clear the one you linked is the one to buy?
I’ll be having a look and hopefully replace the rubbish B&Q one I have with this, thanks!

id rather fit the twist off type of flush even the part is much cheaper and lasts longer than 4 yearsYes, fit the Fluid master one, and appropriate fill valve (side or bottom entry)
They do fail, but once fitted you can twist it out of the cradle and either straight swap or change the diaphragm, no need to ever split the cistern from the pan again
Current one in my house, with 2 adults and 2 teenagers lasted 4 years. I'd say that's not bad for a £15 part

Years ago I was keen on a fan extractor, to outside, for obvious reasons. Turned out to be too difficult...Been seeing some Home Improvement shows lately that people are putting power flush toilets in houses now.
I would go to whatever lengths necessary to install one, and make sure it vents outside (not into the attic)Years ago I was keen on a fan extractor, to outside, for obvious reasons. Turned out to be too difficult...
Depends if it's your toilet or notIs it any different to being drunk and "Talking to God on the big white telephone" ??
There's nowt worse than coming too in a puddle of your own blood and wee.
They have to be quite close to a corner otherwise you can't reach the toilet roll without standing up.I replaced mine as a whole kit. As has been said, to replace that silly bit of ‘cellophane’, meant removing the whole cistern anyway.
It did take me 3 years to finally get the courage/enthusiasm up to dismantle the cistern, and yes, both bolts broke. They always do.

No no, not from the bathroom, from inside the porcelain telephone...I would go to whatever lengths necessary to install one, and make sure it vents outside (not into the attic)
Not just for the VOC's, but also for the moisture when showering.
Better ! I like your thinking. No no, not from the bathroom, from inside the porcelain telephone...
I’m sorry, but doesn’t your privvie servant hold the toilet roll for you? They have to be quite close to a corner otherwise you can't reach the toilet roll without standing up.
Unfortunately not but now you have mentioned it there could be a vacancy to the right applicant.I’m sorry, but doesn’t your privvie servant hold the toilet roll for you?![]()
