Odd wheel bolts

Son has a 2010 Sirocco and it's lost a wheel bolt - MOT failure....
It's got chav Bola wheels with the pictured 10 point internal bolt head, its a pretty standard m14, 1.5 pitch, 26mm length with R13 cup. Apart from the bolt head!

I've emailed Bola to ask if they have replacements, they are not really locking wheel nuts as such, as all 5 bolts per wheel are the same odd head, but of course you need the special tool to get them out, and I reckon the special tool/bolt head setup is a liability, the adapter appearing to be rounding off...

Expect to get a stiff ignoring from Bola, has anyone seen a source for this type of wheel bolt as I can't find them.
Plan B would be to replace all 4 corners with standard bolts and locking wheel nut each.

facebook would be my first start...VW mod groups, i think the dirt nasty low uk group might still be going although was never that busy, modified car groups etc...ive seen campers with those bolts as well when i was on recovery...explaining to a teenager that you cant just 'jam a torx key in there' on the hard shoulder at 3am was never fun...

That makes me already think I may get some of the same at some ungodly hour.
I could replace the lot for just shy of £40, standard M14s with a locking each corner

How big are the wheel bolt wells? Often aftermarket wheels use those bolts as there's very little clearance around the bolt head for a socket to fit.

I just put 20x M14 1.5mm - 17mm AF head bolts on my 2012 Passat estate.

Locking wheel nuts were getting tired/worn.

Few of the bolts had been well over tightened by tyre bay staff. One hex one was rounded off a bit - had to weld extract this one.

Bought a whole set of Febi ones... About £1.14 each @ trade.

All new shiney bolts and did away with the VW factory plastic bolt covers.

How big are the wheel bolt wells? Often aftermarket wheels use those bolts as there's very little clearance around the bolt head for a socket to fit.

It's a good shout and considered it when measuring replacement locking wheel nut adapter size, which is 26mm so should fit - just.

Yes mate, but lack of details, so emailed them earlier today with photos of the missing bolt, so will see if they even reply.

If it were mine I would not bother wit the locking nut liability, but he reckons the Bola wheels are worth nicking...

They were for a set of wheels Mrs Robo bought for her car, but they sent the wrong size bolts so just sent a new set and didn't want the others back.

i have just bought a set of black wheel bolts for a bmw X5 2008....check fitment with yours and if they are right you can have them. They are wrong for my needs

Just in case you're asking anyone to count splines on the replacements, yours have 10, not 12 splines.

And this was the issue when trying a standard vw scirocco bolt, while the standard M14 17mm head bolts will fit and torque up fine, the security bolt & adapter will not reach in.
So it's all standard bolts M14 bolts or all the internal spline types.

For the MOT it's all good anyway with a standard M14 VW bolt to replace the missing one.

But he still wants the Bola ones.....

They replied on email today after 4 days, can get a full set for £40 which is good, but barely any info on reply other than yes we can get them for you I've followed on on email so wait to hear back in a while....

And where are Bola based TBF I think they are more of a manufacturing setup than direct sales..

But got the MOT sorted with a buck shee bolt and waiting for the elusive Bola to come back on a full set for 40 notes, but they drip feed info like you would not believe.
