You just missed Seven SistersI'm not sure what I'm going to do with it - I don't need a 4x4, but it seems a shame to let it rot or to scrap it.

No I don't need a 4x4 but a decent towing vehicle I do need.I've got my old Mums Terrano II LWB.
1995 M plate, only done about 78k miles.
It's been dry stored for the last 4 years, but starts, runs & drives fine.
No rocket or looker for sure, but as a solid workhorse & tow vehicle they are great.
Think the 2.7 lump is what the London Taxicabs had in them - good for starship mileages.
This one needs I think a bit of welding, but it's still a solid beastie.

Well, all I know is this one was used for towing a decent sized Dobbin about in a hefty Horsebox - and never missed a beat.No I don't need a 4x4 but a decent towing vehicle I do need.
My off-roading is on the mountain bike - & I don't have enough time for more daft hobbiesYou just missed Seven Sisters

As slow as :Weren't they slow? Like really slow?!!

So....just what a company like LR should make,in our country. You cant really have one without the other, takes the 4x4 bit to get a vehicle with a decent legal gcw/gtw. The early Nissan Terrano's/ Ford Maverick's were a real gem.

Yep, they're slow. But you don't need fast for towing, & you get a lot of bang for your buck with an old Terrano - without the massive electronic gremlins, dpf worries, dmf woes etc.Weren't they slow? Like really slow?!!

^ When the MoD decided to go for the RB44, it meant the major market for the Lama was gone.
If you can find a working Lama for pocket money, I sure Mat will be very happy to take it on.![]()
Are they expensive, or is it the suspension I should be concerned about?Looking at that picture it also looks like it’s sagging at the front, wheels are closer to the arch than they should be. Easy fix if there’s adjustment left on the torsion bars. If you have to clock the tensioners round a bit and they rusted on it’s a horrible job…
