Nissan Terrano 1998 ???

Anyone any views on them ? It's stupidly cheap, bit of surface rust, no holes, still has MOT (CT), injectors may need changing ? Are they any good, or avoid, 4 pot diesel.

Do rot but the engines (2.7) are a cracking 4 pot engine.
Just feel cheap and plastic.

I think they are pretty solid capable vehicle, I had a ride in a Maverick at an offroad show when they were new. Ford had employed a couple of offroad drivers to demo them, our chap went into a closed section and drove around a stuck Disco 1 up to it's belly in mud.

It was fairly new at the time - was a good truck - strong engine - thirsty.

So I've had bloke on the phone, it's missing it's radiator, so that's another €150 depending on engine type.

He leant it to someone who dissapeared.

i loved mine lwb paid £500 for it and used it for 5 years, put a decent set of tyers on it and drove past my m8 who was stuck in the mud in his much newer and expensive disco in two wheel drive

I have no knowledge of them, this bloke has too many vehicles and is basically giving it away compared to current market prices, it's been for sale for 10 months, my FB feed picked it up as he's dropped it to €250 from €300, crazy eh ?

I've got my old Mums Terrano II LWB.
1995 M plate, only done about 78k miles.
It's been dry stored for the last 4 years, but starts, runs & drives fine.
No rocket or looker for sure, but as a solid workhorse & tow vehicle they are great.
Think the 2.7 lump is what the London Taxicabs had in them - good for starship mileages.
This one needs I think a bit of welding, but it's still a solid beastie.
I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it - I don't need a 4x4, but it seems a shame to let it rot or to scrap it.

put it this way, if i see another at the right price i would buy it, nearly cried when i sold last one to get a van
