True but in a 3 bed house with only 2 of us I doubt it will be necessary, plus it's only going to be single skin garage so would need redoing anywayConsider if you go for a change of use later on, for instance a granny annexe or accessible living. You'll regret not having done it then.





Extra concrete costs way less than fixing damaged footings in my head. The cost difference was only about 400 quid. And when they dug it out it took less than an hour to see about half a metre of water at the bottom which had to be pumped out and a plastic liner dropped in to allow the concrete to set before it got wet again.
