Gear train without the tumblers is free and smooth, tumblers will barely turn on the shaft when meshed but will turn freely on their own
I bought 6no of three sizes and measured each one for a table for them, to show how bad they were. It was not easier than making them myself. One of the six fitted without modification.
Not only was it not cut through properly, the sides were not parallel, and too wide at the narrowest point. I do not even know how this is possible.
A bit of filing sorted them out, but the point is ?Why did I have to?

As someone said check the profiles as a combination of a bigger profile and a tighter mesh is likely to snap teeth. Also noticed the new gears teeth are a lot squarer on the tips as opposed to the old ones which taper more
Myford super 7 tumbler:there you go
The vid shows that the old ones , whilst damaged do rotate freely when meshed, while the new ones barely rotate at all, and when they do, the 28t tends to pull the teeth off the 30tThis proves bu**er all,so I don't see why you had to upload a vid.
