He did indeed. Trimfix supplied with the carpet is high temp. It was bought for my T5 but this has taken priority as mine won’t be ready for a bit. I just want to see him on the road with the bit between his teeth. That’s a good motivator.I hope he used high temp spray glue!
Also advise adding extra butyl pads on all panels to stop vibrations and the noise when it rains heavy.
Mine has the single seats with arm rests, they are still in good condition but I think they are designed to keep you from falling asleep, not great after a few hours.I drove 2 T4's, a 1.9 and a 2.4 for work back when they first came out and covered many miles in them. Drove like a car but those seats were so hard and uncomfortable!
That was when I was in my 20's and much fitter. God knows how much more uncomfortable they would feel now with my many aches and pains!
I find the seats in my 2014 Dispatch very comfortable, much better than the ones in my 2016 Golf! Is hard seats a VW thing?
