very strange I saw the same a nearly finished boat painted and in good nick . whats going on wolly come clean
carry on with showing it as most havent seen its interesting postNothing untoward kida, i just thought folk mite be interested in the process of the build from the start, i was going to update it day by gay upto date and go from there. Better than adding links to other sites andfor me to add it all here in one go will take me ages.
Spoilt my fun now
still now you have seen it in the other forum i will add to this when i go on, i have the canopy windows to finish this weekend and i have the next two weeks of work to work on it. Hope to get it wired and lined them frame work in
I don't even like boats
I can't remember what I was looking for at the time I came across yours elsewhere (was it somewhere other than YBW earlier too?) - I just recognised the pic of it lying in a field as soon as I saw it...
Seconded.
It initially looked like you were 'stealing' the posts Wouldn't be the first time I've seen that happen...
Nothing wrong with a getting up to date thread then continuing it, just so long as it's not pretending to be 3 weeks 'live' work
Pics, words, one I saw where 'the wife' was in a pic and he kept referring to her as his 'other half' - until the person who's 'other half' it really was joined the thread...
The internet can be a strange place
Might've been the canal boat one I saw it at first - thought it was late last year?
not wanting to upset you but on the holes you should have feathered the edges right back so that the new fibreglass built up the thickness again which also gives a lot more area for the repair to adhear to
the 2 in the bow like my bad drawing View attachment 92652
it just looked like a sort of but joint for want of a better description from the front which upon any impact i could see pushing through which would be a disaster, the front should have been feathered aswellI did, a good 2 inch, not he 20 times the thickness folk suggest but enough. The bow point is 8-12mm thick. the repair is around 10mm thick along the taper..

My thought as well, it would punch the repair straight out, or in, in this case.
