keep me updated I can see this carp getting sent back! I have the same ARC ET floating die holder never used it I could do similar. That doesn't look good!
I'm still trying to come up with something to hold taps in my arceurotrade tailstock die holder. There seems to be two types of adjustable holder for ratchet drive. The sealey type that is a pair to span the sizes up to 12mm I think, and the laser type which is a single holder that covers all sizes up to 12mm. I would Tig these into a disc the size of a die to go in my die holder. Then it could slide or float like the dies do. Another option is to Tig a 3/8" square drive to the disc/dummy die.
no not yet mate I a job to do didnt have time had to be quick with my MT2 chucks! lol I just chucked the M10 1.25 tap into a jacobs and tapped it that way and finished it by handHave you tried other taps and cleaned out any crud inside. Somone once said, asian imports are a losely assembled collection of badly assembled parts.
This is while lot of stuff and expense, when I just need a tap adapter to suit my existing die set up.@striker I may have this actually! https://www.arceurotrade.co.uk/Cata...NTz84JvD4nMjgo2TPIFiQVEvnLtR5JUUaAnPWEALw_wcB

I've used this die holder a lot. I like it. Saves me a lot of time setting up change gears for screw cutting on smaller stuff. Suppose it would be different if I had a gearbox!keep me updated I can see this carp getting sent back! I have the same ARC ET floating die holder never used it I could do similar.
